ARRIVAL
The campers are divided into groups. The check-in process is as follows:
1. Welcome - There will be a staff member at the entrance of Cornerstone Ranch to wave and welcome you to camp. We will not let campers enter the gate until 9:00. If you arrive before this time, you will be waiting in a car line outside of the gate. Please do not enter the gate until you are waved in by the staff member. We have counselor devotion and meetings each morning to make sure we are fully prepared for the day. Thank you for understanding!
2. Group Assignments - Camp staff will be stationed directly past the gate to give you your camper's group assignment. If you think about it beforehand, it will speed the process along if you could have a sign with your campers name and grade they are entering for the 2025-2026 school year in your window.
3. Locate Campsite - Once you have your group assignment, you will travel along the carline to your camper's campsite that will be clearly labeled with the proper colors. It is very important that you stay in the carline until your camper's campsite color (group). We do not need parents getting out of line to travel straight to their campsite unless a staff member directs you to do so. We need to make sure that campers are as safe as possible, so staying in the car line is extremely important.
4. Campsite Check-in - Once you are at your campsite color, there will be a group leader stationed to welcome your camper. The group leader will have a sheet where you will sign in your camper and indicate who is going to pick the camper up from camp that day. This ensures that we do not allow your camper to leave with a stranger. Parents are not allowed to get out of their cars. We know this may be scary for new campers, but we have trained counselors who will be there to make sure their transition to camp is the best ever! Once your camper is out of the car, you will continue to follow the car line and exit out of the gate.
DEPARTURE
When picking up your camper, you will follow the same carline pattern as arrival.
1. Group Assignments - A staff member will be stationed directly outside the gate again to give you your camper's group assignment in case you forgot the color of their group.
2. Locate Campsite - Travel along the carline to your camper's campsite. Please travel in the carline until your child's campsite. Do not get out of line unless a staff member directs you to do so. One carline is the best way to ensure that the campers are safe with all of the cars moving through the parking lot.
3. Campsite Check-Out - Show the group leader your driver's license so they can validate who is picking up the camper. They will call your camper to the car. Parents are not allowed to get out of their cars. Once your camper is in your car, you will continue to follow the car line and exit out of the gate.
Below is other information concerning the camp this year:
The campers will go to stations every day. They will rotate through field games, gaga ball, cool down time (which involves some creativity activities) and devotion/art all three days. The recreation station schedule is as follows:
Monday-zip line
Tuesday-canoe
Wednesday-slip-N-slide
Below is a more detailed description about slip-N-slide attire for Wednesday:
Please have children dressed in clothes that could get wet when they arrive at camp. The campers will receive their camp shirt after they participate in the slip-N-slide. This will ensure that they each have a dry shirt, but please bring anything you deem necessary: clothes in which to change and a towel with which to dry themselves after participating in the slip-N-slide. Please put these materials in a bag with the camper's name on it. We are not responsible for lost items. Everything needs to be clearly labeled to assist in keeping items from getting lost.
Lunch: Monday – Full Moon hot dogs
Tuesday – Chick-fil-A sandwiches
Wednesday – Pizza
If your child does not care for these lunch options or has a food allergy, then we encourage them to bring their lunch.
Attire: Campers are encouraged to wear shorts, T-shirt, and tennis shoes to camp.
